DRAFT - this website is a work in progress and the practice has not yet launched.

Terms of use

DRAFT - the terms on which you may use this website. Our terms of business are a separate document.

These terms are a DRAFT and will be completed before the practice launches.

Our services relate to the law of England and Wales.

We are engaged, and work begins, when you have read our Terms of Business and signed the engagement letter.

Two documents, not one

These are the terms for using this website. They are not the terms on which we do work for clients. Those are our Terms of Business, a separate document which we give you, and agree with you in writing, before any work begins. [Terms of Business to follow.]

Who runs this website

This website is run by Dixons Private Client, an estate planning practice based in Anglesey, Wales. [Add the legal entity and contact details before launch.] By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What the website is for

The website tells you who we are, what we do and how to get in touch. The information on it is general. It is not advice about your own situation, and you should not act on it as if it were. We can only advise you once we have been instructed, understood your circumstances and agreed the work with you.

Getting in touch does not make you a client

Sending a message through the contact form, or emailing us, does not make you a client and does not oblige either of us to anything. We become engaged to act for you only when we have agreed the work and the fee with you in writing under our Terms of Business.

Accuracy

We take care to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise that it is free of errors or that it is always current. Any fees shown are indicative until confirmed to you in writing. We may change the website, or take it down, at any time without notice.

Our responsibility to you

We are not responsible for any loss that comes from relying on general information on this website, or from the website being unavailable, except where the law does not allow us to exclude that responsibility. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Links to other websites

Where we link to other websites, we do so to be helpful. We are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or how they handle your information.

Copyright

The words, photographs and logos on this website belong to Dixons Private Client or to the people who made them for us. You may read the site and print pages for your own use, but please do not copy anything for publication elsewhere without asking us first.

Your privacy

How we look after the personal information you give us through this website is explained in our privacy notice.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute about them will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. [Confirm before launch.]

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date of the last change is shown here. [Add date.]
